We are happy to present a new Mercodia customer in our interview series. Please meet Dr. Hanne Scholz at Oslo University Hospital.
Dr. Hanne Scholz is the Director of the Human Islet Isolation Facility at Oslo University Hospital in Norway. She has been a Mercodia customer since 2006, using assays for both rodent and human samples.
“Oslo University Hospital is a member of the Nordic Network for Clinical Islet Transplantation. When I started doing clinical and basic research within beta-cell replacement therapy, I started collaboration within this network and got introduced to Mercodia assays. I have always been delighted with the reproducibility and ease to use of the assays.”
During the years she has used Mercodia products for many of her research projects, in addition to the quality assessment of isolated islets, and has come to appreciate the assays as trustable with high sensitivity.
When asked for a special Mercodia memory, Dr. Scholz recalls:
“Yes, when I asked for help to develop one of their assays to measure a target in another matrix, they contributed with interest, honest and cheerful service to solve this issue.”
